How much does it cost?
Our subscription model keeps the cost of managing your image data incredibly low. For solo or small group practioners you can find our pricing rates posted. For enterprise level health care (typically more than 50 providers) our solutions are custom crafted for your workflows and requirements as well as integrated into your existing (if any) EMR. We are happy to provide you with a quote.

Is my data safe?
mdconsult encryptts your data on our servers. Data is also automatically backed up to multiple geographic sites, one in California, one in New York. We have kept patient information safe, secure and available for years for one of the nation's largest HMOs with an excellent track record. No one will work harder to protect your data. There are multiple back-up options to also keep a copy of your data locally if that is your choice (see question below for more information).

Can I run CLAY on my own servers?
For those practices who wish to keep their data closer to home CLAY can be configured to run at your instiution. Please contact us for more information about details and options.

Can I keep a copy of my data locally?
Practices that want to keep a copy of their data locally can download it off of the CLAY system at any time through our interface. We never keep your patient information in a proprietary format and the data can be downloaded as an excel spreadsheet or a flat text file in folders with the patient image data. It is important to understand that your back-up copy stored locally is subject to the same HIPAA requirements that the practice will be responsible for managing.

Is CLAY HIPAA compliant?
mdconsult.net in the role of a Business Associate and CLAY as our premiere patient information storage system meet all HIPAA guidelines. It is important to understand that there are additional requirements that practices and their providers must adhere to (for example, keeping your password safe) to be completely compliant but no oone does a better job of meeting HIPAA requirements than mdconsult.net

Can I customize the data and workflow within CLAY?
Yes, CLAY can be quickly customized to specific data needs and workflows. Usually there small service charges for customizing a CLAY system for you once we know more about your specific needs. We look forward to hearing from you!
